As an Agent for New York Life, I've always believed in the value of a strong financial home, one built to weather the storms of life.
Similarly, I believe in the power of a strong physical home, one built to support your family and your connection to the community. Born into a diverse Indian neighborhood, I quickly learned to speak six different languages: Farsi, Gujarati, Hindi, Punjab, Urdu, and English. While I now live in Dublin, California, my sense of community remains strong. I enjoy taking care of my mother, who lives with me, my wife, and my sons. In my spare time, if I'm not on the golf course, you'll likely find me at one of my son's basketball games or volunteering.
Volunteering is incredibly important to me, as I believe in giving back to the community. I offer my time to the Alzheimer's Association to support patients and families learning to manage this disease, and I also volunteer with the American Cancer Society, where I can support a great cause for millions of patients and families around the world.
My professional life started when I earned my degree in Software Engineering. After spending time in the corporate world and teaching computer programming, I realized I wanted to break from corporate life to become an entrepreneur. Inspired by my father's past as a life insurance salesman, I decided to join New York Life. In the years since, I've made numerous professional strides, including placement on New York Life's Executive Council, a group of the company's top performing agents1. I've also qualified as a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, The Premiere Association of Financial Professionals®2, four times (in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021). I work hard and the value the time I spend sharing the lessons I've learned over the years by mentoring younger agents to perform their best.
